Be cool!
I totally understood that complaint from my customers as I indeed was just a graduate and had poor experience. Frankly, I was quite frustrated when I heard that information because I really hoped customers would be more patient and provide me an opportunity to prove they were wrong. At that time I started to aware that the world is often unkind to new. However, if I do nothing to struggle for others’ recognition I would never get rid of that “fresh” label.
Thus, I came to my manager to explain that it’s quite unfair for them to judge me so easily. Although I was quite sure I preformed very professional about allocation service, I asked my manager whether I did something that made them unsatisfied probably because I didn’t preform professionally during the communication with customers. My manager admitted that point.
After confirming my deficiency, I asked my manager to provide me an opportunity to have a talk with my customer to express my apologies for disappointing him and I would understand if he still insist to replace me. But I would still defend for myself that I performed well on allocation service and hope we could continue our cooperation. Besides, I would pay more attention to practice my communication skill and act more sophisticated. But the most important is keeping confident all the time and don’t be frustrated.
